I am so sorry I stink so bad at blogging! I have never been great at this kind of thing, but I do see its perks! SO- I want to update you all on our goings on here in Wittlich, Germany!
Jude is now 16 months old and is a mover and a shaker for sure! He is walking now and little Mr. Independent! He finds new ways everyday to make his Momma sweat and to keep her and Daddy on their toes! For example yesterday Jude and I went on trip to Trier with some other moms in the area and before we could even get out the door Jude had me tripping over my feet trying to keep up with him! As we were getting ready I left Jude in the living room to play so I could throw up my hair and maybe put on some make-up, you know! He was playing happily in the living room when I left him, and still there when I got back maybe 3-4 minutes later! I got to getting him ready, changed his diaper, dressed him... That took maybe 3-4 minutes! Then... I smelled somehthing... *Sniff, Sniff* What the heck!?!?! I got up and ran to the kitchen to find that he had turned on 3 of the stove top burners on HIGH and a plastic tupperware lid that had been there on top of a pan had melted down into liquid and it STANK!!! I had to open ALL the windows and air out the house while we got ready, and then just cracked them before we left so the house to air out! It was nuts! The trip was super fun of course, but me being pregnant was exausted beyond belief by the time I got back home! Too much walking! lol
Jude says some words and tries to say others! When I asked him last week, "Do you love me?" he said, "Oh yeaaaah!" lol. It was so cute!
He says, "Oh yeah' a lot actually! Yesterday I got him some crackers and I said, "Mmm... Crackers... Oh yeah!" and he says, "Doe-ders Oh yeaaahhh!" lol. Almost there buddy! I love it when he says things like, "Dadda DO!"... What a goofy kid!
I am now 13 weeks and have another appointment this Tuesday! I am getting past the point of sick all the time, but I am not capable of much! Sooo TIRED! How the heck am I supposed to set up a house when I can barely keep it clean! Jude is like a tornado and leaves a path of destruction wherever he doth roam! lol
The little baby inside me moves quite often! I can feel him every so often like a little hick-up in my belly! I am feeling it so much sooner than last time, but that is also probably because I know what I am feeling for this time! I am already wearing maternity pants, but the scale says I way less, so I am hoping this means a repeat of this time and I am not gaining but redistributing the weight! :-) I am eager to get into the 2nd trimester and have more energy!
Cameron is working double time, trying to get healthy AND keep me happy! It is safe to say he is a HARD WORKIN MAN! :-) He really is incredible! I am truly grateful for him and all of this patience and love and support! No man could do it better!
Cameron has been making a special effort to get close to Jude and of late it has been doing wonders!! Jude lights up when Daddy walks through the door! All GRINS! He has a play phone that he talks into, and when I ask him who is talking to he says, "Da-da-da-da" :-) That is his favorite words by the way! Dadda Dadda!
We think Jude knows there is a big change happening because he has been so much more needy for attention and SOO cuddly lately! He is probably thinking I better get in as much me time as I can, WHILE I can! :-)
